Installing Ignition Coils For Cylinders 1 To 4

- Install ignition coils for cylinders 1 to 4 -2-

- 1.1 Insert ignition coils -2- and check that they are seated correctly.

Fit and tighten screws on ignition coils -1-

> Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) (6.6 ftlb.)
- Secure cable duct -8-

Overview of cable duct
- 2.1 Connect and lock electric plug connection for hall sender for intake camshaft -4- .
- 2.2 Connect and lock electric plug connections for injector valves for cylinders 1 to 4 -2- .
- 2.3 Connect and lock electric plug connections for ignition coils for cylinders 1 to 4 -1- .
- 2.4 Connect and lock electric plug connections for solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift control for intake camshaft -5- .
- 2.5 Connect and lock electric plug connection for fuel pressure sensor -6- .
- 2.6 Connect and lock electric plug connections for solenoid hydraulic valve for valve lift control for outlet camshaft -3- .
- 2.7 Guide cable duct -8- onto the threaded bolts on the ignition coils. Check that the ground cables are fitted correctly.
- 2.8 Fit nuts for cable duct -7- and tighten to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) (6.6 ftlb.) .
- Install bracket for torque support bracket -3-
and connect vent line -4-

Position torque support bracket -3-
and fit screws on torque support bracket -1 and 2-

Tighten screw -2-

> Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 ftlb.)

> Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

- 3.2 Connect vent line -4- to oil mist separator until it locks.

Position torque support bracket -3-
and fit screws on torque support bracket -1 and 2-
