Installing Supply Line - Section From High-Pressure Pump To High-Pressure Pump

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
1. 1.1 Tighten supply line - section from engine to high-pressure pump - as follows:
  1. 1.1.1 Coat thread on union nuts with Microgleit DF 977S. Observe drying time of at least 5 minutes before fitting.
  2. 1.1.2 Fit union nuts by hand.
  3. 1.1.3 Fit and tighten screws on holder for supply line section.
    > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
  4. 1.1.4 Tighten union nuts.
    > Initial tightening 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) > Final tightening + 50°
2. 1.2 Tighten screw on supply line holder.
  > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
3. 1.3 Tighten screws for coolant lines.
  > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
