Installing Catalytic Converter

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
    1. 1.1  Replace seals between primary catalytic converter and turbocharger.
    2. 1.2  Replace seal on primary catalytic converter/catalytic converter exhaust flange.
    3. 1.3  Fit new V-band clamp.
    4. 1.4  Tighten V-band clamp to > Tightening torque 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)  .
    5. 1.5 Tighten new  nuts to > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)  .
