Removing Catalytic Converter

Information 

• Treat corroded components with anti-rust agent or heat. 

Information 

• The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is practically identical. 

1. Position transmission jack under the catalytic converter and secure with a tension strap to prevent it from falling down.
2. Screw off nuts -1-  on the exhaust flange.

3. Unscrew screw -1-  on the catalytic convener holder.

4. Remove catalytic converter -1-  .

   1. 4.1  Loosen clamp securing catalytic converter to exhaust system and push it to the rear towards the exhaust system.
   2. 4.2  Unscrew screws -2-  on exhaust bracket and remove catalytic converter -1-  using the transmission jack.
