Removing Exhaust Temperature Sensor At The Left

CAUTION: Hot components 
  • Risk of burns 
    1. → Let hot components cool down.
    2. → Wear personal protective gear.
  1. Disconnect electric wiring harness for DME control unit -1-  .

    Cable plug for DME control unit

    1. 1.1  Cut tie-wrap -2-  .
    2. 1.2  Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  .
  2. Remove exhaust temperature sensor -1-  .

    Exhaust temperature sensor

    1. 2.1  Mark installation position of exhaust temperature sensor -1-  .
    2. 2.2  Cut tie-wrap -2-  .
    3. 2.3  Unscrew exhaust temperature sensor -1-  and guide it towards the cable plug -3-  .
    4. 2.4  Release and disconnect cable plug -3-  and unclip it from the holder -4-  .
    5. 2.5  Remove exhaust temperature sensor -1-  .
