Installing Exhaust Temperature Sensor At The Left

CAUTION: Hot components 
  • Risk of burns 
    1. → Let hot components cool down.
    2. → Wear personal protective gear.
  1. Install exhaust temperature sensor -1-  .

    Exhaust temperature sensor

    1. 1.1  Screw in exhaust temperature sensor -1-  align it with the marking and tighten it.

      > Tightening torque 45 Nm (33 ftlb.) 

    2. 1.2  Connect and lock cable plug -3-  and clip it into holder -4-  .
    3. 1.3  Secure electric line with a new  tie-wrap -2-  .
  2. Secure electric wiring harness for DME control unit -1-  .

    Cable plug for DME control unit

    1. 2.1  Connect and lock cable plug -3-  .
    2. 2.2  Secure electric wiring harness for DME control unit -1-  with new  tie-wraps -2-  .
