Removing Charging Socket

WARNING: Incorrect handling of high-voltage components 
  • Electric shock 
  • Short circuit

    1. → Only appropriately trained and authorised persons are permitted to work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
    2. → Required qualification: High volage technician or high voltage expert.
    3. → Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.
    4. → Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set  when working on these components.
    5. → Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.
    6. → > WM, 2X00IN GENERAL WARNING NOTES FOR WORKING ON THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM

  1. Release electric plug connection -1-  and disconnect it.

  2. Pull water drain -1-  off the body.

  3. Unscrew screws on charging socket holder.
