- Local restrictions and export restrictions,
- Manufacturer specifications from component and vehicle manufacturers,
- Component-specific specifications.
These strict specifications apply in particular to:
- Storage, installation and removal, transport and disposal of vehicles, assemblies, operating materials and auxiliary materials,
- Handling defective and potentially hazardous vehicles as well as assemblies,
- Handling battery electric vehicles and high-voltage components.
Consider relevant and qualified sources of information such as local authorities, competent importer, associations and specialised websites for this purpose. Only deliver items to be disposed of to authorised reception points.
These regulations to be complied with have to be checked, observed and, if necessary, documented by the person responsible for the vehicle for all life phases and work.

Adapt for each new cell module! New cell modules have a state of charge of 30%.

During the test sequences, green tick marks indicate whether lines were connected correctly. However, these only light up as soon as both ends of the lines have been connected.

The difference in voltage between the module and the existing modules can be max. 0.3 V.

Read and follow the instructions for the module balancer.
- Switch on the Tester and select HV system under Measuring equipment.
- Switch on module balancer.
- Select Module balancing.

on the Tester.

Enter the necessary data.
Enter data for selecting the cell module-Module type (e.g. 4M0...), serial number (label on the cell module), setpoint voltage (read out of test log or measure voltage manually on the module).

Connecting measuring device
- 4.5.3 Connect red > VAS 6910/10-1 - connecting cable-1- to HV + for the cell module.
- 4.5.4 Connect red > VAS 6910/10-1 - connecting cable-1- to HV + for the > VAS 6910 - module balancer .
- 4.5.5 Connect black > VAS 6910/10-2 - connecting cable-2- to HV - of the cell module.
- 4.5.6 Connect black > VAS 6910/10-2 - connecting cable-2- to HV - of the > VAS 6910 - module balancer .
- 4.5.7 Connect cell monitoring cable (CAN) > VAS 6910/12A-3 - connecting line-4- with the > VAS 6910 - module balancer .
- 4.5.8 Connect electric plug connection -3- for the cell monitoring cable (CAN) > VAS 6910/12A-3 - connecting cable-4- to the module.

Enter the necessary data.
- 4.6 Once the cell module has been charged/discharged successfully, follow the instructions on the Tester.
- 4.7 Print the log and file it in the order folder.

- Stop Module balancing.
- Remove module balancer and Tester.
