→ Only appropriately trained and authorized persons are permitted to work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
→ Required qualification: High voltage technician or high voltage expert.
→ Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.
→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.
→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.
> 2X00IN GENERAL WARNING NOTES FOR WORKING ON THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM
Preliminary work for measurement 8
- Release and disconnect high-voltage line from E-box to high-voltage charger (at the E-box).
High-voltage charger connection at E-box
Performing measurement 8
Measurement 8 (shown as an example)
- Perform resistance measurement on high-voltage line (E-box to high-voltage charger) pilot line in and pilot line out.
Refer to the wiring diagram for the pin assignment of the connectors
- 2.1 Setpoint value < 0.5 Ohm
- Evaluate measured result
- 3.1 If the measured value is within the tolerance range, continue with measurement 8.1 .
- 3.2 If the measured value is outside
the tolerance range, replace the high-voltage line.
After carrying out repairs, repeat measurement 8.
Preliminary work for measurement 8.1
- Remove side trim panel for luggage compartment at the left.
