→ Only appropriately trained and authorized persons are permitted to work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
→ Required qualification: High voltage technician or high voltage expert.
→ Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.
→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.
→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.
> 2X00IN GENERAL WARNING NOTES FOR WORKING ON THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM
Preliminary work for measurement 3
(High-voltage charger, charging socket)
- Release and disconnect high-voltage line (high-voltage charger - electric passenger compartment heater) at the high-voltage charger.
Connection for electric passenger compartment heater at high-voltage charger
- Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6 - High-voltage test adapter HVA 280
to high-voltage charger connection for electric passenger compartment heater. Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 3
- Perform measurement 3.
- 3.1 Setpoint value > 550 MOhm
- Evaluate measured result
- 4.1 If the measured value is within the tolerance range, continue with measurement 4
- 4.2 If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, continue with measurement 3.1
Preliminary work for measurement 3.1
(High-voltage charger)
- Release and disconnect connection for charging socket at the high-voltage charger.
Charging socket connection at high-voltage charger
- Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6 - High-voltage test adapter HVA 280
to high-voltage charger connection for electric passenger compartment heater. Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 3.1
- Perform measurement 3.1.
- 7.1 Setpoint value > 550 MOhm
- Evaluate measured result.
- 8.1 If the measured value is within
the tolerance range, replace charging socket.
After replacing the charging socket, repeat measurement 1.
- 8.2 If the measured value is outside
of the tolerance range, replace high-voltage charger.
After replacing the high-voltage charger, repeat measurement 1.
- 8.1 If the measured value is within
the tolerance range, replace charging socket.
