Installing Fuel Line

Fuel line

1. 1.1  Coat the thread of the union nuts -2 and 3-  with Microgleit DF 977S and allow to dry off for at least 5 minutes.
2. 1.2  Move fuel line into installation position and fit union nut -3-  by hand.
3. 1.3  Press sound absorber aside and fit union nut -2-  by hand.
4. 1.4  Tighten screws -4-  .

   > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.) 

   > final tightening torque 45° 

5. 1.5  Tighten union nuts -2 and 3-  using > T40055 - socket-wrench insert  .

   > Tightening torque of 10 Nm (7.4 ftlb.) 

   > Torque angle 60°

Coolant pipe

1. 2.1  Fit coolant pipe -1-  with new O-rings.
2. 2.2  Tighten screws -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.6 ftlb.)

Adjacent fuel line connections

1. 3.1  Clip in clip -2-  .
2. 3.2  Connecting and locking electric plug connection -1-  .
