Installing Oxygen Sensor Downstream Of Catalytic Converter

Information

When re-installing oxygen sensors, only grease the thread with lubricant (see PET).
Make sure that the lubricant does not get into the slits in the sensor body.
New oxygen sensors have already been greased and the thread is fitted with a protection cap.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
1. 1.1 Coat thread of oxygen sensor with hot screw paste.
2. 1.2 Tighten oxygen sensor upstream of catalytic converter.
  > Tightening torque 52 Nm (38 ftlb.)
