Removing Change-Over Valve For Low-Temperature System (UVW 2)

  • Danger of scalding 
    1. → Avoid contact with hot fluid.
    2. → Wear personal protective gear.
  1. Remove coolant reservoir holder -1-  .

    Coolant reservoir holder

    1. 1.1 Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
    2. 1.2 Remove coolant reservoir holder -1-  .
  2. Remove change-over valve for low-temperature system -1-  .

Change-over valve for low-temperature system (UVW 2)

  1. 2.1 Loosen spring band clamps -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and pull off coolant hoses -3-  .
  2. 2.2 Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  3. 2.3 Release and disconnect cable plug -4-  .
  4. 2.4 Remove screws -5-  .
  5. 2.5 Remove change-over valve for low-temperature system -1-  .
