Removing Radiator For Low-Temperature System

WARNING: Hot fluid 
  • Danger of scalding 
    1. → Avoid contact with hot fluid.
    2. → Wear personal protective gear.
  1. Loosen coolant hoses -1-  .

    Coolant hoses

    1. 1.1 Loosen spring band clamps -2-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    2. 1.2 Pull off coolant hoses -1-  .
    3. 1.3 Catch escaping coolant and close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
  2. Remove radiator for low-temperature system -1-  .

Radiator for low-temperature system

  1. 2.1 Release locking lugs -2-  on both sides and tilt radiator for low-temperature system -1-  forward slightly at the top.
  2. 2.2 Guide radiator for low-temperature system -1-  up out of the holders -3-  and remove it.
