  1. Disconnect the battery/vehicle electrical system.

    > 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM BATTERY

  2. Remove engine cover.

    > Refer to WM, 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) (V6 TURBO)

  3. Remove cover for centre underbody.

    > Refer to the appropriate service information.

  4. Remove cover on high-voltage power electronics -1-  .

  1. 4.1 Unscrew and remove screws -2-  .
  2. 4.2 Unscrew nuts -3-  .
  3. 4.3 Remove cover on high-voltage power electronics unit -1-  .
