Bleeding The Cooling System
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Information
- Always follow the instructions on the Tester.
Information
- There is no need to create a Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL).
Information
- Before bleeding the low-temperature system, the system must always have been drained, vacuumed and filled correctly beforehand.
- Simply bleeding the system using the test procedure will not resolve the problem if air is getting into the system or if the engine coolant level is too low.
Information
The bleeding process ends automatically after 20 minutes.
- During the Tester routine and warm-up phase, check the engine oil temperature and coolant temperature on the instrument cluster.
The Tester does not monitor the temperatures automatically!
If the temperatures are too high, cancel the process manually!
