Removing Strut

Housing for external power connection 

1. 1.1  Unscrew nuts -2-  .
2. 1.2  Move housing for external power connection -1-  aside.

   Information 

   The number of electric plug connections can vary depending on equipment.

Electric wire harnesses on DME control unit holder 

1. 2.1  Unclip clips -2-  .
2. 2.2  Disconnect electric plug connections -3-  from DME control unit holder.
   1. 2.2.1  Release locks on the DME control unit holder and disconnect electric plug connections -3-  by pulling them upwards.

DME control unit holder 

1. 3.1  Unscrew nuts -2-  .
2. 3.2  Remove DME control unit holder

Holders for air cleaner housing

Sound absorber 

1. 5.1  Remove fastening elements -2-  and remove sound absorber

Threaded joint for strut (dome strut) 

1. 6.1  Unscrew screws -2 to 4-  .

Strut (dome strut) 

1. 7.1  Unclip clip -2-  and carefully set the washer fluid filler neck aside.
2. 7.2  Unclip upper parts of covers -3-  and remove by pulling upwards.
3. 7.3  Remove strut -1-  in -Arrow direction A-  .
