Installing Spring Strut

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

1.1 New screws securing spring strut to body -2- :

> Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 90°

1.2 Housing for external power connection -1- to body > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) .

1.3 Wire harness from battery to starter -3- to external power connection > Tightening torque 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.) .
