Replacing Crankshaft Sealing Ring - Belt Side: Notes

- Removing crankshaft sealing ring - belt side using > T40019 - oil seal extractor (-1-)

T40019 - Oil seal extractor
- 1.1 Set the inner part of the > T40019 - oil seal extractor (-1-) so that it is flush with the outer part, and lock the inner part with the knurled screw.
- 1.2 Oil the threaded head of the > T40019 - oil seal extractor (-1-) , position it and use sufficient force to screw it as far as possible into the sealing ring.
- 1.3 Loosen the knurled screw and turn inner part against the crankshaft until the sealing ring for the crankshaft pulley is pulled out.
- 1.4 > T40019 - Oil seal extractor (-1-) must be clamped on the flattened areas in a vice. Then, remove crankshaft sealing ring - belt side using pliers.
- Carefully clean running and sealing faces.
