Removing Engine Mount

Information

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

Only right engine mount:
Disconnect ground cable -1- on the engine mount.

Ground cable on engine mount
1. 1.1 Unscrew nut -2- and remove ground cable -1- .

Loosen engine mount on the front axle carrier.

2.1 Loosen and unscrew bolt securing engine mount to inner front axle carrier with multiple-tooth M10 socket-spanner insert from > VAS 6928 - 39-piece socket set-1- and > T10384 - ratchet spanner SW13-2- .

2.2 Unscrew screws securing engine mount to front-axle carrier (outer) -3- .

1. 3.1 Unscrew screw -2- .
2. 3.2 Remove engine mount -1- downwards.
3. 3.3 Replace screw -2- .
