Installing Crankcase Cover

Press crankshaft sealing ring out of the crankcase cover.
Clean the crankcase.
1. 2.1 Remove residual sealant.
2. 2.2 Clean sealing faces with primer Loctite 7515.
Prepare crankcase cover.

Applying sealant on crankcase cover
1. 3.1 Remove residual sealant.
2. 3.2 Clean sealing faces with primer Loctite 7515.
3. 3.3 Replace O-ring.
4. 3.4 Apply liquid sealant Loctite 5970-BM -1- on the crankcase cover.
Install crankcase cover.

Crankcase cover
1. 4.1 Fit crankcase cover uniformly on the oil guide housing and crankcase.
2. 4.2 Screw in screws -1 to 10- as far as they will go by hand.
3. 4.3 Tighten screws in the sequence -1 to 10- .
  > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
