Removing Radiator
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Have suitable stoppers ready for closing off the line connections.
- Disconnect coolant connections at the top.
Coolant connections at top of radiator
- 2.1 Release and disconnect line connection for vent line -1- .
- 2.2 Release and disconnect line connection for coolant hose -2- .
- 2.3 Close off connections with stoppers.
- Disconnect line connection for lower coolant hose -1-
.
Coolant connection, bottom
- 3.1 Release and disconnect line connection for lower coolant hose -1- .
- 3.2 Close off connections with stoppers.
- 3.3 Move lower coolant hose -2- aside so that the electric plug connections for the radiator fans are accessible.
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections for radiator fans -1 and 2-

- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for radiator -1-
.

- Remove side trim panels -1-

- 6.1 Release locking lugs -2- on the trim panels -1- .
- 6.2 Pull trim panels -1- forward off the radiator.
- Detach radiator holder -1-
from lock carrier.

- 7.1 Unscrew and remove screws -2 and 3- .
- Remove radiator -1-

Removing radiator
- 8.1 Release retaining clips for radiator -2- and remove upwards.
- 8.2 Carefully tilt the radiator -1- forward -Arrow- .
- 8.3 Guide out radiator -1- together with radiator frame by moving it forward at the top.
