Installing Coolant Regulator

Information 

Install seals with open side facing the engine.

1. Install new  seals -1 and 3-  .

   Coolant regulator seals (shown on the Panamera)

   1. 1.1  Push in seal -1-  as far as it will go using > T40357 - thrust piece  (-2-  ).
   2. 1.2  Insert seal -3-  .
2. Insert coolant regulator -1-  and fit and tighten screws -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)

3. Connect and lock electric plug connection for coolant regulator -2-  .

4. Install coolant pipe -2-  .

   Coolant pipe

   1. 4.1  Replace sealing rings.
   2. 4.2  Position coolant pipe -2-  .
   3. 4.3  Fit and tighten screws -1-  .

      > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) 

5. Secure coolant pipe -1-  .
   1. 5.1  Tighten screws -2-  .
