Drain Engine Oil

Information 

• Only use engine oils that have been tested and approved by Porsche AG. 
• Dispose of used oil and oil filter in accordance with legal requirements in your country. 

1. Have a suitable container ready for collecting the engine oil.
2. Open the bonnet.
3. Open the cap -1-  .

4. Drain engine oil.

   Oil drain plug

   1. 4.1  Unscrew oil drain plug -2-  on the oil pan -1-  and drain engine oil into a suitable container.
   2. 4.2  Fit oil drain plug -1-  with a new sealing ring -3-  and tighten it.

      V6 Turbo:  > Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.) 

      V8 biturbo:  > Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
