Removing Left Charge-Air Cooler

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Have suitable stoppers ready for closing off the connections.
Disconnect upper pressure hoses -1 and 2- .

Upper pressure hoses on left charge-air cooler
1. 2.1 Loosen screw-type clamps -3 and 4- .
2. 2.2 Pull off pressure hoses -1 and 2- .
3. 2.3 Close off connections with stoppers.
4. 2.4 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -5- .
Disconnect lower pressure hose -1- .

Lower pressure hoses on left charge-air cooler
1. 3.1 Loosen screw-type clamp -2- .
2. 3.2 Pull off pressure hose -1- .
3. 3.3 Unclip line clip -3- .
4. 3.4 Close off connections with stoppers.
Remove charge-air cooler -1- .

Threaded joint for charge-air cooler
1. 4.1 Unscrew screws on charge-air cooler -2- .
2. 4.2 Guide charge-air cooler -1- out of the holder -3- and remove it.
