Installing Pressure Pipe

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following: 

Pressure pipe (at the top between the charge-air coolers): 

Tighten screw-type clamps on pressure pipe.

> Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) 

Tighten screws for pressure pipe.

> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Pressure pipe (at the bottom between the charge-air coolers): 

Tighten screw-type clamps on pressure pipe.

> Tightening torque 5.5 Nm (4 ftlb.) 

Tighten screws for pressure pipe.

> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Pressure pipe (at the turbocharger): 

Check O-ring and replace if damaged.

Tighten screws on turbocharger flange.

> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Tighten screws on charge-air cooler flange.

> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 

Tighten screw securing pressure pipe to engine.

> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
