Disconnecting And Connecting Battery

Information
Switch off all loads and switch off ignition.
Keep ignition key outside of the vehicle and outside of the transmission range of the radio receiver.
Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
Disconnect and connect battery with extreme caution.
Disconnect battery
- Remove battery cover in footwell on the passenger's side.

- Disconnect ground cable from the battery.
Loosening ground strap
- Route or insulate the ground strap so that all contact with a battery terminal is avoided.
Connect the battery
- Connect ground cable to the battery terminal and secure it.
- Fit cover in footwell on the passenger's side.
