Subsequent Work

  1. Hybrid only:

    Install high-voltage line from power electronics to electric motor.

    > Removing and installing high-voltage line from power electronics to electric motor (V8) 

  2. Install the starter.

    > 276019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STARTER (V8 BITURBO)

  3. Secure emergency release.

    > Loosening and securing emergency release 

  4. Install ATF cooler.

    > Removing and installing ATF cooler 

  5. Install drive shafts.

    > Removing and installing front drive shaft 

  6. Install rear cardan shaft.

    > Removing and installing rear cardan shaft 

  7. Install catalytic converters.

    > Removing and installing catalytic converter (V8 biturbo) 

  8. Hybrid only: 

    Install exhaust pipes.

    > WM, 260119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXHAUST SYSTEM

  9. Vehicles without particle filter: 

    Install primary catalytic converters.

    > Removing and installing primary catalytic converter (V8 biturbo) 

  10. Vehicles with particle filter: 

    Install particle filter (with catalytic converter).

    > WM, 267419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PARTICLE FILTER (WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER) (V8 BITURBO)

  11. Install power-steering gear.

    > Removing and installing power-steering gear 

  12. Install front-axle support.

    > Removing and installing front-axle support 

  13. Fill up coolant.

    > Draining and filling coolant
