Removing Catalytic Converter

Information 

• Pre-treat corroded components with anti-rust agent or heat. 

1. Unscrew nuts -4-  on the primary catalytic converter/catalytic converter flange.

2. Unscrew nut -1-  and unscrew screw -2-  on the exhaust flange.

3. Remove catalytic converter -1-  .

Catalytic converter

1. 3.1 Position transmission jack under the catalytic converter -1-  and secure with a tension strap to prevent it from falling down.
2. 3.2 Loosen clamp securing catalytic converter to exhaust system and push it to the rear towards the exhaust system.
3. 3.3 Unscrew screws -2-  on exhaust bracket and remove catalytic converter -1-  .
