Installing Exhaust Temperature Sensor

CAUTION:
Hot components
- Risk of burns
→ Let hot components cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
- Install exhaust temperature sensor -1- .
Exhaust temperature sensor
- 1.1 Screw in exhaust temperature sensor -1-
, align it with the marking and tighten it.
> Tightening torque 45 Nm (33 ftlb.)
- 1.2 Connect and lock cable plug -5- and clip it into holder -6- .
- 1.3 Secure electric line -3- with a new tie-wrap -4- .
- 1.4 Only for exhaust temperature sensor at the right:
Position electric line -3- in heat shield -2- and close it.
