Removing Heat Shield On Firewall

Information 

To prevent damage, the heat shields on the left and right longitudinal members must be removed beforehand.

  1. Remove heat shield on firewall lower section -1-  .

    1. 1.1 Lever off clamping washers -2-  .
    2. 1.2 Remove heat shield on firewall lower section -1-  .
  2. Remove heat shield on firewall upper section -1-  .

  1. 2.1 Unscrew speed nuts -2-  .
  2. 2.2 Remove heat shield on firewall upper section -1-  .
