Removing Exhaust System

1. Remove tunnel strut -1-  .

   1. 1.1 Unscrew screws -2, 3 and 4-  and remove tunnel strut -1-  .
2. Secure the exhaust system using >VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack-1-  .

   1. 2.1 Position >VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack-1-  under the exhaust system in such a way that both pipes can be supported at the same time.
   2. 2.2 Guide tension strap around both pipes and secure it.
   3. 2.3 Raise the exhaust system slightly.
3. Make sure the catalytic converter -1-  does not snap off.

   Catalytic converter secured

   1. 3.1 Secure catalytic converter -1-  with wire/tie-wraps -2-  on the cardan shaft -3-  .
4. Loosen exhaust system -1-  .

   Exhaust system

   1. 4.1 Pull rubber holder -2-  off the exhaust bracket.
   2. 4.2 Loosen screws -3-  and push clamp -4-  towards the exhaust system -1-  .
      1. 4.2.1 Replace clamp -4-  .
   3. 4.3 Unscrew screws -5-  .
5. Remove exhaust system.

1. 5.1 Guide the exhaust system, which is secured with a tension strap -Arrows-  , downwards using the >VAS 6931 - engine and gearbox jack  .
