This work can only be performed when the engine has been supported on the body.
Information
The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- 1.1 Thread-in and tighten screws on engine carrier.
V6: > Tightening torque 55 Nm (40.6 ftlb.)
V8: > Tightening torque 55 Nm (40.6 ftlb.)
- 1.2 Fit and tighten nut on ground line.
> Tightening torque 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.)
- 1.1 Thread-in and tighten screws on engine carrier.
