Removing Engine

- Disconnect electric wire harness from the front-axle carrier (right).

- 1.1 Unclip clip -1- .
- 1.2 Unscrew screw -2- .
- 1.3 Unclip clips -3 and 4- .
- Disconnect electric wire harness from the front-axle carrier (bottom).

- 2.1 Unclip clip -1- .
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections on the steering gear.
- Lift the engine at the engine suspension eyelets using a workshop crane and secure it.
Information
Get another person to help during removal and mounting.
- Remove engine -1- .
Engine on front-axle carrier
- 5.1 Disengage electric plug connection -2- from the holder.
- 5.2 Unclip clips -3 and 4- .
- 5.3 V6 only:
Unscrew screws -5- on supporting mounts.
- 5.4 Unscrew screws -6- on engine mounts.
- 5.5 Lift up engine -1- using an engine crane and guide it out towards the front.
