Preliminary Work

• The ignition must be switched on in order to check and adjust the wheel alignment of vehicles with rear axle steering correctly. This has the effect of blocking the tie rods in the correct position.
• Connect a battery charger to ensure that no undervoltage occurs.

Information 

Special points relating to vehicle adjustment: 

• Toe difference angle and caster cannot be adjusted. 
• Camber at the front axle cannot be adjusted. But camber can be centred evenly within the tolerance range by moving the front-axle carrier. 

1. Prepare vehicle for checking and/or adjusting wheel alignment values. Place front wheels on turntable and rear wheels on rotary/sliding plates.
