Installing Oil Cooler

Risk of contaminating the lubricating system

Cover open parts of the cylinder head.

Information

Install oil cooler within 5 minutes.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

Oil cooler seals
1. 1.1 Install new seals. -4-
2. 1.2 Cut off the nozzle on the tube at the front marking (nozzle diameter: approx. 1.5 mm) and apply a bead of sealant measuring approx. 3 mm in diameter all around the cleaned and degreased sealing face. -5-
3. 1.3 Fit and tighten screws on holder. > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
