Removing D-Pillar Trim Panel

Information
To reduce the forces during removal and thereby the risk of damage, a suitable tool must be used as a support during removal at accessible connection points.
- Detach seal on rear lid -1-
in the D-pillar trim panel area.

- Unclip clips -2-
and remove D-pillar trim panel -1-
from the D-pillar.

NOTIFICATION
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
- → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
- → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
- Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1- from loudspeakers -2- .
