Removing Retaining Strip For Tail Light

Information
- Carefully clean any dirt, grease, wax and other impurities off the fitting area of the body using isopropanol.
- Always use a clean cloth.
- The room and object temperature must be at least +18°C.
- Air humidity must be 40% - 60%.
Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- Position retaining strip under the outer tail light.
Gap from retaining strip to tail light
- 1.1 Align retaining strip using the gap dimension -Z-
shown.
> Gap dimension 8 mm
- 1.1 Align retaining strip using the gap dimension -Z-
shown.
- Position retaining strip under the inner tail light.

- 2.1 Align retaining strip using the gap dimension -Z-
shown.
> Gap dimension 6 mm
- 2.1 Align retaining strip using the gap dimension -Z-
shown.
- Position retaining strip at the side of the tail light.

- 4.1 Tighten nuts -1-

> Tightening torque 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)
- 4.2 Tighten screw -2-
