Subsequent Work

  1. Install front seat.

    > 720119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT

  2. Check that the counterplate -1-  is positioned correctly and fitted securely.

  3. Connect the Tester to the vehicle and start it. Switch on ignition.
  4. Select the vehicle type if required.
  5. Select the Airbag  control unit in the overview  . Press F12 to continue. The message "Create Vehicle Analysis Log (VAL)?" appears. Press F11 to continue.
  6. Actual values/input signals  must now be selected.
  7. Seat position sensor  must be selected. Press F12 to continue.
  8. Move front seat all the way forward and all the way back electrically. The displayed value must change when the front seat is moved.
  9. Read out the fault memory  and delete any fault entries.
