Installing head airbag

1. Always use new screws or nuts following removal.
2. Comply with instructions for repairs.
3. Observe specified tightening torques.
4. Carry out a visual inspection of parts used.

Replace all clamps and holders you removed from the head airbag unit.

Check installation position of the head airbag unit:

Test strip for head airbag unit

Do not twist the head airbag unit during installation.
Do not twist head airbag rebound strap at the connection point.
The test strip -1- must be completely visible over the entire length.

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Screw in fastening screw for head airbag and tighten to > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) .
