Wheel bearing unit

• The wheel bearing has a magnetized multipole seal, which acts as a pulse sender for the wheel speed sensor. 
• The multipole seal -1- must always face upwards when the wheel bearing is set down (this does not apply when pressing the wheel hub into the wheel bearing). Do not damage the multipole seal and do not let it come into contact with magnetic objects (e.g. magnetized screwdriver or magnet).

Wheel hub out of wheel bearing

1. 3.1 Fit special tools as shown in > Wheel hub out of wheel bearing  .
2. 3.2 Press wheel hub out of the wheel bearing.

1. 4.1 > VAS 251 413 - Separating device  must be inserted between the inner bearing ring -1-  and wheel hub -2-  . Then pretension with the spindle.

2. 4.2 Fit special tools as shown in > Inner bearing ring from wheel hub  .

   1	Plunger
   2	Sleeve T10230/3 from > T10230 - assembly tool
   3	Pressure piece T10230/8 from > T10230 - assembly tool
   4	> VAS 251 413 - Separating device

3. 4.3 Press inner bearing ring off the wheel hub.
