Preparing Window Aperture For Installation

Information 

• The surface coating of adhesive residue helps new adhesive to stick. Keep cut surfaces clean and free of grease and do not clean with cleaning solution. 

1. When removing adhesive residue with the cutter > V.A.G 1561B - Electric cutter  and flashing knife (U-shape 639.031.130.22) on the body, ensure that only a surface coating of adhesive -1-  remains.

   Information 

   • A drying time of at least 10 minutes must be observed between cleaning the bonding surface and applying primer! There must be no cleaning solution residues left on the body. 
2. Clean and prime paint damage or newly built-up paint surfaces in the window aperture of the body using cleaning cloths -H2-  .

3. Check plastic element around the chassis number for damage and replace it if necessary.
