Information
The exact position of the front camera with respect to the geometric driving axis angle is adapted by calibrating the front camera.
- The > VAS 6430/1A - Setting Device with Reflector , > VAS 6430/4 - Lane Departure Warning Calibration Plate , > VAS 6350A - Calibration unit and a wheel alignment computer are required for the calibration process.
Information
Set vehicles with air suspension to normal level (medium height).
- Before calibrating the front camera, a basic initial measurement must be performed.
- Park the vehicle on a levelled wheel alignment platform or on a level surface and set up the calibration unit > VAS 6430/1A - setting device with reflector
, > VAS 6350/2A - spacing laser
and VAS 6350 wheel centre mountings
in front of the vehicle in accordance with the instructions on the wheel alignment computer and POWYS Tester. > Measuring

The front camera must be re-calibrated in the following situations:
- When replacing the front camera
- When removing and installing or replacing the windscreen
- When chassis settings are adjusted
