    Information

Use a transparent hose and a collecting bottle to check the escaping brake fluid for cleanliness, absence of air bubbles and to determine the amount of brake fluid used.

  4. Change the brake fluid.
    1. 4.1 Fit collecting bottle hose to the bleeder valve.
    2. 4.2 Open bleeder valves on the brake callipers, starting at the rear right brake calliper.
    3. 4.3 Open each bleeder valve until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges. Then, close the bleeder valve.

Observe the sequence: rear right/rear left/front right/front left.

  5. Tighten bleeder valves to the specified tightening torque and remove bleeder hoses.

Front bleeder valves (grey cast iron/PSCB):  > Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)

Rear bleeder valves (grey cast iron/PSCB):  > Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)

Front bleeder valves (PCCB):  > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

Rear bleeder valves (PCCB):  > Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)
