Preliminary Work

Remove rear window channel seal
> 646819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR WINDOW CHANNEL SEAL
Remove (rear) door window frame.
> 64441903 REMOVE AND INSTALL (REAR) DOOR WINDOW FRAME
Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- on KESSY antenna.

Kessy antenna

Only for vehicles with Softclose (I-no. GZ2)
Release electric plug connection -1- and disconnect it.

Disengage bowden cable.

Closing aid motor
1. 5.1 Release locking lug -2- in an upward direction and pull it out.
2. 5.2 Disengage bowden cable -3- from the drive -4-arrow A- .
3. 5.3 Pull bowden cable -3- with rubber sleeve out of the mounting plate.
Only for vehicles with Softclose (I-no. GZ2)
Remove bracket for closing aid.

Closing aid bracket
1. 6.1 Disengage electric wire harness -1- .
2. 6.2 Open locking mechanisms -2- by turning them anti-clockwise.
3. 6.3 Take off bracket for closing aid.
Only for vehicles without Softclose (I-no. GZ2)

Information

The cover must be replaced following removal.
Remove cover -1- .
