Installing Roof Spoiler

Roof spoiler

1. 1.1 Feed AM antenna cable -2-  through the opening -3-  and press in grommet for AM antenna cable -4-  .
2. 1.2 Position roof spoiler -1-  on the closed tailgate and clip in clips -5-  .
3. 1.3 Align roof spoiler -1-  with the roof and side panel.
4. 1.4 Screw on new  nuts -6-  with the tailgate closed, but do not tighten yet.

Roof spoiler centre trim to roof

1. 2.1 Align gap between roof spoiler centre trim and roof -F-  .

   > Gap dimension 5.5 mm + 1.5 mm - 0.5 mm 

2. 2.2 Align offset between roof spoiler centre trim and roof -V-  .

   > Gap dimension - 1.2 mm + 1.5 mm - 0.5 mm 

Information 

To set the required gap dimensions, the fins may have to be re-aligned when replacing the roof spoiler.

Fin to roof spoiler

1. 3.1 Align gap between roof spoiler and fin -F-  .

   > Gap dimension 4.7 mm + 1.5 mm - 0.5 mm 

2. 3.2 Align offset between roof spoiler and fin -V-  .

   > Gap dimension 0.3 mm + 0.5 mm - 0.5 mm 

> Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)

1. 5.1 Open rear lid.
2. 5.2 Fit and tighten new  screws -2-  .

   > Tightening torque 2.8 Nm (1.8 ftlb.) 

3. 5.3 Screw on and tighten new  nuts -3-  .

   > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)
