Installing Rear Spoiler

Retract rear spoiler drive unit.
Position rear spoiler -1- on rear spoiler drive unit.

Rear spoiler
1. 2.1 Fit new screws -2- .
2. 2.2 Tighten screws -2- only so much that the rear spoiler can still be adjusted.
Align rear spoiler with side panel - at the sides.

Rear spoiler to side panel
1. 3.1 Align gap between rear spoiler and side panel at the top -F- .
  > Gap dimension 4.5 mm + 1 mm - 1 mm
2. 3.2 Align gap between rear spoiler and side panel at the bottom -F- .
  > Gap dimension 4.5 mm + 0.7 mm - 0.7 mm
3. 3.3 Align offset between rear spoiler and side panel at the top -V- .
  > Gap dimension - 0.5 mm + 0.5 mm - 0.8 mm
4. 3.4 Align offset between rear spoiler and side panel at the bottom -V- .
  > Gap dimension 0 mm + 0.3 mm - 1 mm
Align rear spoiler with side panel at the rear.

Rear spoiler to side panel
1. 4.1 Align gap between rear spoiler and side panel -F- .
  > Gap dimension 5 mm + 0.7 mm - 0.7 mm
2. 4.2 Align offset between rear spoiler and side panel -V- .
  > Gap dimension - 0.7 mm + 0.7 mm - 0.7 mm
Tighten screws -2- securing rear spoiler -1- . > Tightening torque 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)

Extend rear spoiler drive unit -2- .
Secure rear spoiler -1- on rear spoiler drive unit -2- .

Rear spoiler
1. 7.1 Fit and tighten new screws -4- .
  > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
2. 7.2 Adjust height of rear spoiler protection buffer and ensure it is fitted securely.
Clip cover for window extension -1- into brackets -2- .
