Fastening grommets version 1

Information 

Pull the padding for the rear seat surface (2/3-split folding rear seat) up slightly and keep pulling it in order to release the fastening grommets.

Information 

Repeat the procedure on all three fastening grommets.

1. 3.1 Loosen padding for rear seat surface (2/3-split folding rear seat).

   Fastening grommet version 1

   1. 3.1.1 Push special tool > 9943 - disassembly tool-3-  onto fastening grommet version 1 -1-  . -arrow- 
   2. 3.1.2 Unclip fastening grommet version 1 -1-  from the seat frame.

   Information 

   Repeat the procedure on all three fastening grommets.

2. 3.2 Lift up padding for rear seat surface (2/3-split folding rear seat) -1-  with fastening grommets version 1 -2-  and fold it over to the rear.

   Information 

   Fastening grommets version 1  must not be re-used and must be replaced by fastening grommets version 2.

   Information 

   Repeat the procedure on all three fastening grommets.

3. 3.3 Remove fastening grommets version 1 on the underside of the padding for the rear seat surface (2/3-split folding rear seat).

   1. 3.3.1 Release locking lugs using a screwdriver. -arrow A- 
   2. 3.3.2 Remove fastening grommet version 1. -arrow B-

   Fastening grommet version 2

   1. 4.1.1 Release fastening grommets version 2 -1-  using a screwdriver. -arrow A- 
   2. 4.1.2 Pull padding for rear seat surface (2/3-split folding rear seat) -2-  up and out. -arrow B- 

Disconnect electric wire harness for seat heating -3-  at the seat frame.

Electric wire harness for seat heating

1. 5.1 Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-  .
2. 5.2 Remove clip -2-  .
3. 5.3 Remove electric wire harness for seat heating -3-  from the seat frame.
