Removing Rear Side Window

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Always shut off power supply when replacing cutting knife.

The new rear side window is supplied complete with trim frame and trim.

Headliner

Do not damage the headliner -1- .

Carefully lever off trim frame -1- using a plastic wedge.

Trim frame for rear side window
Unclip seal -1- in the upper area. -Arrow-

Seal
Pierce adhesive bead on the rear side window -1- from the inside out using an awl -2- and cutting thread on the lower C-pillar.
Make sure not to damage the headliner and the seal for the C-pillar.

- Fixing clips will also be cut when removing the rear side window. Greater force will be needed at these points.
Removing rear side window
1. 4.1 Attach suction cup for > VAS 861 001A - window removal set to the outer rear side window.
2. 4.2 Cut out rear side window using cutting cord.
