Install Crankshaft Sealing Ring - Belt Side

CAUTION: Hot components 
  • Risk of burns 

    → Let hot components cool down.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

  1. Fit guide sleeve -1-  from > T40320B - assembly tool  on the crankshaft and install crankshaft sealing ring - belt side -2-  .

    Guide sleeve

    Information 

    Leave guide sleeve fitted on the crankshaft.

  2. Install crankshaft sealing ring - belt side -3-

    Pressure piece

    1. 2.1  Fit pressure piece -1-  from > T40320B - assembly tool  on the crankshaft with vibration damper screw -2-  .
    2. 2.2  Press crankshaft sealing ring - belt side -3-  in as far as it will go.
    3. 2.3  Remove pressure piece -1-  and guide sleeve from > T40320B - assembly tool  .
